“Like a sculptor carving his own statue” Volker Schlöndorff on Friedemann Vogel
“Friedemann Vogel - Incarnation of Dance” - the first full-length documentary on the Stuttgart Ballet superstar - is a highlight of this year’s SWR Doku Festival. First released in 2020, the documentary will be screened on 22 June in Stuttgart (with English and German subtitles), followed by a conversation with Friedemann and the documentary director Katja Trautwein, moderated by journalist and dance writer Dr Thomas Aders.
