“Cranko” film director Joachim Lang was full of praise for Friedemann Vogel, who plays John Cranko’s muse Heinz Clauss in the film. The Stuttgart Ballet étoile arrived in style and to excited cheers on the red carpet, dressed by Dior for the film premiere, and together with his dance partner and co-star Elisa Badenes who plays Marcia Haydée, who later took over from John Cranko as artistic director after the latter’s untimely death at the age of just 45.
