Friedemann Vogel has been awarded the prestigious John Cranko Prize, in recognition to his contributions to the late choreographer’s work, an honour that crowned the ballet star’s 25th anniversary celebrations at the Stuttgart Ballet on 15 July, which began with Friedemann performing Bejart’s “Bolero”, followed by a conversation about Friedemann’s career with present and past artistic directors of the Stuttgart Ballet.
