"Songs of the Bulbul" with Aakash Odedra named "Best International Show" by The List Festival Awards

After “Mehek” which premiered at the NYU Arts Center in Abu Dhabi earlier this year, Fabiana Piccioli lights another collaboration with Aakash Odedra in “Songs of the Bulbul”, for which she also served as dramaturg. Choreographed by Rani Khanam and featuring music created by Rushil Ranjan, this new solo was inspired by the ancient Sufi myth of a bulbul captured and held in captivity, and will have its world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival from 9 to 11 August.
