Fabiana Piccioli lights the World Premiere of Handel's "Semele" at Théâtre des Champs Elysées

Following their successful collaborations on “Eugene Onegin”, “Rigoletto”, “Jephtha”, “La Gioconda” and the Bernstein doublebill “Trouble in Taihiti/A Quiet Place”, Fabiana Piccioli lights “Semele” - the latest opera directed by Oliver Mears, the artistic director of the Royal Opera House. This new production of Handel’s celebrated oratorio premieres on 6th February at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées, and runs till 15th February.
